Have you ever witnessed something and said to yourself "oh, I wish I had my camera for this?" Well, this morning was one of those moments. I had to work this morning at 7am and was up and moving by 5:45. I have the pleasure of working a Tennis Tournament in Key Biscayne, FL. And as we drove onto the island the sun was just beginning to rise...then as quickly as I could say good morning it turned the whole sky the most beatiful shade of light pink with hints of orange. And as I was thinking how beautiful it was and went to grab my camera I realized I had chose this day not to bring it. How ironic. Here's the photo I took 2 years ago on the Key when I saw a great shot a pulled over and just started shooting!
It makes me think of a suggestion my boyfriends co-worker had about our upcoming trip to Europe. He said just make sure not to spend the whole trip behind your camera. I understand the point but when you have an eye and love for photography why risk the chance of missing a great shot?! So, for now, I'll continue to take me camera with me always.
